How To Do

• Parade steps off at 11am
• We are in group 3

• 9:15am SHARP
• Vans will depart at 9:30am SHARP. Do not be late. The vans cannot wait for you

• 7th Ave between 16th and 17th Streets
• GPS: 106 7th Ave

• In order to ride the van from NYC to Montclair you must pre-purchase a van ticket on Chorus Connectio
• Deadline to purchase a van ticket is Tuesday, July 1.
• New this year: $15 R/T and $8 R/T tickets are both available in the payments center. If you need a reduced fare ticket, simply purchase it. If you don’t, choose the $15 fare. $8 R/T are available while supplies last.

• Vans will take passengers from the end of the parade route to Casa Del Begley (the home of Marita Begley and Ana Del Campo) for the band BBQ!
• Vans will return to NYC as the BBQ winds down. Since there are three vans, drivers will coordinate separate departure times based on passenger consensus; make sure you don’t take your belongings out of the van when you get to Casa Del Begley in case you return to NYC in a different van!
• Vans will return to Chelsea

• NEW THIS YEAR: We suggest you find parking at the END of the route before the parade and carpool back to stepoff
• Parade ends on Valley Road next to Edgemont Park
• Roads will close between 10 and 10:30am, so find parking early

Uniform (Everyone)

• We are NOT wearing our full uniform
  • no Aussie hat
  • no plume
  • no overlay
  • no guard/dance crew tops!
• White 2025 QBAC marching band t-shirt
• Shorts/bottoms of your choice.
• Footwear of your choice (but no flip flops)
• Bring a hat/cap if you choose! It will be sunny!

• You do not need to bring your stand-and-play music to this performance
• Put your music into a flip-folder (and don’t forget to bring a lyre)
• Make sure you have a new QBAC logo placard in front of each of the 5 pieces in the marching set.

• At the call location: in the Montclair Public Library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue

• At the end of the parade: in Edgemont Park

• The parade is scheduled to begin at 11am

• The parade is 1.67 miles

• All our performances are rain-or-shine (unless there is lightning)

Annual Grand Pride Finale BBQ at Casa Del Begley, home of Marita and Ana (62 Essex Ave, Glen Ridge, NJ)

• Burgers, hot dogs, vegetarian and vegan burgers will be on offer
• Plus potato salad, bean salad, ginger cole slaw, watermelon, and our traditional Marching Band Forever Cake plus other yummy desserts
• Also soda, water, seltzer, and beer
• If you’re so inclined, feel free to bring a dish, a sweet treat, your favorite beverage, or anything your diet requires
